?MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Dallas Defenders Football Club is to provide monetary support to families of police officers and fire fighters that were killed in the line of duty in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, to raise funds to benefit the youth in our surrounding communities of the Dallas / Fort Worth area and increase community awareness in sports in order to deter youth from gangs.

On average, one law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty somewhere in the United States every 53 hours.? In 2010, 162 police officers and 85?firefighters gave the ultimate sacrifice.?
