Alliance Cares is the official Community Outreach Program of the Florida Football Alliance as part of our community service initiative for our member organizations to become and remain involved with their local area residents, awareness causes, and charitable groups alike.

Each member organization is encouraged to host, implement, and/or participate in community service projects and programs within the local area they play and practice in year-round. The league's Community Outreach Director, Ray Gordon, is available to all member organizations and their staff to offer assistance and suggestions in setting up community service events in their area.

Gordon, who serves as the General Manager of the Palm Beach Makos and is employed full-time at Lockheed-Martin in Riviera Beach, was honored this past May in Baltimore, MD for his "Exceptional Community Involvement". His efforts earned him the President's Volunteer Service Award for National and Community Service, an award he's received 2 of the last 3 years.

The Makos football organization, due in large part to Gordon, are arguably one of the busiest teams in Adult Amateur Minor League American football by hosting or participating in an average of 10-14 community service events on an annual basis.
