Join us for the Stallion Pop Warner Charity Game!!
We have a fundraiser game to benefit Sunnyvale Pop Warner on July 24th against the Silicon Valley Hawks of the PCFL. The game will be at Peterson Jr. HS in Sunnyvale and is scheduled for a noon kickoff time. Players must show by 10AM for uniform handout. See the "maps and locations" tab for directions. Anyone who desires to play, but was not a rostered Stallion this past season and did not show for practice on 7/17 will be charged $20 to cover uniform laundry and post game picnic expenses. Of course, anyone playing in the All Star game is excused from this ruling.
Post game, upon return of your uniform, we will provide you with a wrist band for the Stallion End of Season Picnic. We will be having our picnic immediately after the charity game across the street, just south of the field, at Raynor Park. We have reserved a spot on the south west end of the park (picnic area 2) for this event. Team awards will be presented along with 2010 Season highlight DVDs.
The team is providing a Taco Truck for the picnic and asks that all planning to attend bring a side dish or something to eat as well. Also, please plan on bringing your own beverages. Two BBQ pits are available for anyone wanting to use them. The taco truck will provide various taco meats, homemade salsas, all the fixings, rice, refried beans, salad, etc.
Alcohol is allowed in the park if you are of legal age and the alcohol is accompanied with food, so feel free to BYOB. Coach Casey has agreed to provide his infamous “Skip and Go Naked” punch as well. Hopefully, the concoction does not live up to its name…
